What you will do
- Lead the paid media and performance marketing function, including managing digital specialists.
- Own the strategy, planning, and execution of paid digital programs to drive marketing qualified leads and pipeline globally.
- Manage channel and campaign-level budgets, forecasts, and pacing, ensuring spend aligns with targets and ROI.
- Oversee and support the build, launch, and optimization of search engine marketing campaigns (primarily Google Ads) and other paid channels (paid social, display, YouTube).
- Regularly monitor all paid digital marketing activities, optimize toward agreed KPIs (CPL, AOV, ROAS), and provide clear reporting and insight to stakeholders.
- Partner with the Web Team to ensure accurate tracking and attribution, and work with Sales to continuously improve lead quality and close rates.
Requirements
- Previous experience in digital marketing with demonstrable results in driving leads and revenue, ideally in a B2B technology environment.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, including at least 2 years in a people management role leading digital or performance marketing teams.
- Advanced experience setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns on Google Ads or other major search platforms.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with retargeting, custom audiences, tags, pixels, and cookies.
- Demonstrated experience driving conversions through digital marketing campaigns, especially SEM, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes and ROI.
- Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, or HubSpot to track, manage, and report on leads.
- Average to advanced skills in Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Google Ads and Analytics certifications and other relevant platform certifications.
Nice to have
- Experience running global campaigns, including working with regional teams or local agencies and managing translation or localization.
- Experience with additional paid platforms such as LinkedIn Ads and programmatic display.
- Persuasive ad copywriting skills and experience briefing or collaborating with creative teams.
