TL;DR

Major & Strategic Account Executive (Legal AI): Driving growth and the full sales cycle for an AI platform in large law firms and corporate legal departments with an accent on building relationships with C-level decision-makers and navigating complex procurement cycles. Focus on designing impactful demos, mapping complex organizational structures, and delivering compelling business cases for ROI.

Location: Hybrid role requiring at least eight days a month at the office in Alphen Aan Den Rijn, Netherlands.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from outreach and qualification to contract signature.
  • Build and manage relationships with law firm partners, general counsels, and legal operations leaders.
  • Apply strategic account planning to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Legal Engineering to design impactful demos, pilots, and AI workflows tailored to client needs.
  • Guide multi-stakeholder deals through legal, IT, and procurement processes with precision.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and apply qualification frameworks to improve forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration or a related commercial field.
  • 3–6 years of B2B SaaS new sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota through complex, high-value deals.
  • Strong commercial instincts and confidence engaging C-level decision-makers in legal, compliance, or operations.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex procurement cycles and influence cross-functional buying committees.
  • Experience selling into law firms, legal departments, or professional services.
  • Native-level proficiency in Dutch and fluent English.

Nice to have

  • Legal background (law degree or law firm experience).
  • Familiarity with legal tech or enterprise SaaS platforms.
