What you will do

• Take full ownership of project deliveries across multiple platform services.
• Drive reliability, performance, and personalization across Dispatch and Subscription systems to achieve 99.99% delivery success and under 1s latency.
• Lead engineering teams to evolve and scale subscription systems, enabling 2x growth in subscriber engagement.
• Reduce technical debt and optimize resource usage by modernizing legacy infrastructure, aiming for a 30% reduction in operational costs.
• Build high-performing, autonomous, and globally distributed teams, maintaining high engagement and improving velocity.
• Champion the integration of AI/ML to enhance business outcomes, delivering at least two AI-driven features to production annually.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall industry experience with 4 years in a leadership (hands-on engineering management) role developing and supporting web applications and microservices in a distributed environment.
• Strong experience in programming languages, specifically Java, and competence in designing enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience building and scaling large-scale distributed systems and developing with service-oriented architectures/microservices.
• Prior AWS/GCP/Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry experience is a must.
• Proven success managing and scaling platform services in fast-moving environments and leading cross-regional teams.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and messaging patterns.
