Location: Hybrid role. Expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week in specific office locations: San Jose, Durham (USA), Mexico City (Mexico), Bangalore, Pune (India), Hoofddorp (Netherlands), Belgrade (Serbia), Barcelona (Spain), Singapore (Singapore), Sydney (Australia), and Tokyo (Japan).

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end release cycles, including test planning, execution, triage, and closure.
• Plan and manage multiple feature deliveries across diverse components in the AHV stack.
• Collaborate with developers to identify blockers, prioritize, and ensure swift resolutions.
• Champion 100% automation coverage for new features and regression testing.
• Monitor and report quality metrics, defect trends, and release readiness.
• Build and mentor a high-performing QA team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Support, SRE, and Customer Success to analyze and root-cause customer-found defects.
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation frameworks, coverage, and stability.

Requirements

• BE/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of industry experience, with 2+ years in QA leadership or management roles.
• Proven expertise in distributed systems, storage, or virtualization domains.
• Strong experience designing test strategies and automation frameworks for complex system software.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for automation and debugging.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM), and cloud-scale deployments.
• Excellent debugging and root-cause analysis skills for distributed and performance-related issues.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work across Dev, Product, and QA teams.
