What you will do

• Build a roadmap, disambiguate work, and drive team priorities based on a mid to long-term vision.
• Manage, mentor, and lead a globally distributed team of 8 engineers.
• Advocate, unblock, and represent the team within the organization.
• Participate in Major Incidents on-call rotation as Incident Commander.
• Identify and implement processes to improve team productivity and software quality.

Requirements

• Experience leading diverse teams of software engineers as a line manager.
• Experience leading engineering projects that cross engineering teams.
• Experience as a hands-on software engineer with strong computer science fundamentals.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Superb organizational skills, stakeholder management skills, and project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical vision, operational rigor, and cross-team collaboration.
