Salary: $133,100—$210,600 USD (higher for select US locations)

What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and lead a globally distributed team of Java engineers.
• Lead efficient delivery of search enhancements with regular hirify.globalsearch releases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define requirements and build roadmaps.
• Foster a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and consensus-based decision-making.
• Identify resource requirements and drive recruitment for high-quality colleagues.
• Support development and training of direct reports through 1:1s and career conversations.

Requirements

• Experience leading distributed teams of Software Engineers.
• Ability to work in a distributed team throughout the world.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Significant experience as a hands-on Software Engineer.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience working with stakeholders outside of Engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with query languages.
• Open Source experience.
• Prior professional exposure to hirify.globalsearch.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
