TL;DR
Partnerships/ Business Development Manager - Emerging Markets (Fintech): Driving and growing affiliate and Introducing Partner channels to expand market presence and revenue generation with an accent on building strategic relationships and optimizing partnership performance. Focus on leading strategic partnership development, performance optimization through data analysis, and collaborating with internal teams for integrated marketing and sales initiatives.
Location: This position is based exclusively in our Melbourne office and requires three days in the office per week. Occasional regional travel within Asia-Pacific markets may be required.

What you will do
- Lead strategic partnership development by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential affiliates and introducing partners.
- Create compelling partnership propositions, design competitive commission structures, and develop market-specific engagement strategies.
- Drive performance optimization through comprehensive tracking and analysis of partnership activities to ensure compliance and maximize ROI.
- Manage the complete partnership lifecycle from recruitment through optimization, leveraging partnership management platforms.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and compliance teams to execute integrated initiatives through partnership channels.
- Design and implement innovative partnership strategies with significant autonomy to drive sustainable growth.
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in partnerships, affiliate marketing, or business development/account management in a similar industry.
- Fluency in English on a professional level.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and revenue goals in financial services.
- Strong prospecting, lead generation, consultative selling, and client acquisition skills with demonstrable conversion rates.
- Experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements and building long-term client relationships that drive recurring revenue.
- Demonstrated ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing partnerships.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Banking.
- Understanding of the CFD industry, products, and regulatory environment.
- Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin.
- Proven expertise with partnership management platforms (Impact, Cellxpert, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize partnership performance through data-driven insights.
