TL;DR

FX Sales Manager / Head of Desk (Fintech): Ensuring a positive, supportive, and motivational culture while maintaining and improving sales performance through the training, coaching, and development of a sales team within FX. Focus on developing sales strategies, pitching and closing deals, and managing customer relationships for new clients.

Location: Hybrid (4 days in office / 1 day from home) in Melbourne, Australia

What you will do

  • Lead a sales team in developing prospects, coaching, and mentoring to foster skill and career progression.
  • Pitch and close deals with prospective clients through phone calls and face-to-face meetings.
  • Manage customer relationships for new clients to ensure smooth onboarding and initial trades.
  • Provide accurate forecasting of expected sales volume for your team.
  • Implement regional sales programs and ensure adherence to company-wide sales methodology and administration processes.
  • Be actively involved in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of sales management within FX or other cross-border financial services.
  • Experience within Financial Services, with an existing network being an advantage.
  • First-class communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to mentor, coach, and develop people effectively.
  • A skilled negotiator capable of building and leveraging relationships at senior levels within SME customers.
  • Fluent English.
