TL;DR

SMB Account Executive (Sales): Driving new business acquisition through prospecting and strategic territory development for cybersecurity solutions with an accent on consultative selling and pipeline mastery. Focus on identifying key decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, and executing strategic deal management to build long-term client relationships.

Location: Hybrid, must be located in the Washington DC area for 4 days in-office.

What you will do

  • Identify, prospect, and close net new SMB customers in your assigned territory through strategic cold calling and networking.
  • Conduct compelling online demos of hirify.global's Security Awareness Training Platform and articulate its value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential customers through relationship building and consistent prospecting.
  • Own the complete sales cycle, from identifying decision-makers to qualifying opportunities and forecasting new business.
  • Execute strategic deal management, including pricing negotiations, to maximize deal value and ensure customer success.
  • Become a master of hirify.global's complete product portfolio, positioning solutions against competitive alternatives.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales with 1-3 years of software (SaaS) sales experience to Small Medium Businesses.
  • Familiarity with IT Security concepts and a genuine interest in helping SMB organizations strengthen their security awareness.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Gmail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the natural ability to build rapport and conduct compelling presentations.
  • Motivated, energetic self-starter with a hunter mentality for prospecting, cold calling, and generating new opportunities.
  • Stats-driven business professional who leverages metrics to optimize performance, forecast accurately, and make strategic decisions.

Nice to have

  • Network+ or Security+ certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
