TL;DR

BDR Manager (Sales): Leading and coaching a team of outbound Business Development Representatives to achieve key objectives, focusing on building a high-performing team and fostering professional growth. Focus on developing and implementing effective outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX

Salary: $120,000 (U.S. base salary, not including bonus and/or commission)

What you will do

  • Lead, inspire, and coach a team of outbound BDRs to achieve key objectives, focusing on building a high-performing team of top talent and fostering their professional growth.
  • Develop and implement effective outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of targets.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build regular sales campaigns and systematically improve lead qualification processes.
  • Establish and maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline generation, leveraging all available resources, including field sales, marketing, channel partners, and sales development to accelerate new business.

Requirements

  • Experience in outbound sales and management experience with a demonstrated track record of success exceeding quotas selling security, networking, and/or software solutions.
  • Experience leading a sales team focused on growing new business and new logos.
  • Strong hunter mentality: direct experience managing teams responsible for creating new demand, new customer acquisition, and sourcing new pipeline.
  • Strong presentation and communications skills, competent translating technical features into business value.
  • Comfortable working in a highly fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets.

Nice to have

  • Experience with tools like Gong Engage and SFDC are a plus.
