What you will do
- Lead a squad of 4-6 Fullstack Engineers, ensuring technical delivery and goal focus.
- Design resilient, scalable event-driven and distributed systems.
- Break down complex problems into incremental deliverables with clear architecture and domain boundaries.
- Influence architecture across the broader platform with pragmatic, forward-thinking decisions.
- Coach and mentor engineers, guiding their technical and professional development.
- Utilize GenerativeAI tools to increase productivity and enhance decision-making.
Requirements
- Experience leading a squad of 4-6 Fullstack Engineers.
- Proficiency in designing resilient, scalable solutions for event-driven and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of DevOps culture and end-to-end ownership.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and designers to translate business needs into technical outcomes.
- Familiarity with Python, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model based in London, UK.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/LLM integrations and Generative AI applications.
- Knowledge of intelligent document processing and NLP techniques.
- Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) and search platforms (e.g., OpenSearch, Elasticsearch).
