What you will do

• Define technical vision, architecture, and execution of productivity tools roadmap, embracing emerging industry practices.
• Lead a team to design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure engineering productivity and collaboration tools.
• Review and write code, define APIs, build prototypes, conduct design spikes, and technical/code reviews.
• Advocate for products organisation-wide, solicit feedback, coach and mentor team members, ensure skill variety.
• Foster culture of continuous improvement, innovation, role model values, and help team grow.

Requirements

• Programming in Java, Python, Golang, JavaScript; hands-on with prototypes and MVPs.
• Delivery of complex software projects using Agile and DevOps.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible.
• Building platforms/tools at scale on GCP, especially Data Analytics products.
• Git, CI/CD, DevOps, automation; defining user journeys, architectures, APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).

Nice to have

• Machine learning and AI for productivity; statistical analysis; internal platforms/tools/SDKs.
• Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
• Harness.io, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes (admin and developer).
• Open-source contributions to engineering productivity.
