UX Designer (AI)

Arize AI provides an AI and agent engineering observability and evaluation platform that helps teams build, test, monitor, and optimize AI systems.

What you will do

• Own the product’s end-to-end look and user experience.
• Analyze real user sessions in FullStory to identify friction points and usability issues.
• Meet with users, gather feedback, and identify pain points in new and existing product features.
• Prototype and iterate on interaction alternatives and UX flows in Figma or code.
• Implement interface improvements, smooth transitions, inline guidance, and reusable interaction patterns.
• Partner with senior and staff engineers on complex interfaces, including multi-step forms and onboarding flows.

Requirements

• Engineering background through frontend development, an engineering degree, or impactful design changes made with Claude Code or Cursor.
• Experience with complex tools such as developer tools, data tools, or B2B SaaS products.
• Ability to improve products through detailed UX refinement and demonstrate previous work.
• Experience building or contributing to design systems and animation libraries.
• Ability to use Figma for wireframes and user flows shared with engineers.
• Ability to account for edge cases, loading states, and empty states.

Nice to have

• Experience with feedback collection tools and incorporating user feedback into designs.
• Experience running lightweight usability tests.
