What you will do

• Identify systemic bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities across a massive microservice architecture.
• Develop and deliver innovative technical solutions with a focus on medium and long-term impact.
• Deep dive into the technical aspects and limitations of systems to drive continuous improvements.
• Perform high-level analysis to identify and resolve root causes of performance issues.
• Anticipate technical and product issues, making design decisions to prevent future bottlenecks.
• Share knowledge and mentor others, ensuring a high standard of quality and teamwork.

Requirements

• Experience and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
• Background working with critical, high-availability production services.
• Deep interest in understanding JVM architecture and performance characteristics.
• Knowledge of operating systems (scheduling, memory management, I/O).
• Passion for performance tuning, capacity planning, and improving system efficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking for problem-solving.
