DevOps Cloud Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $86,000–$118,000 per year, plus annual bonus or commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and automate AWS cloud infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient, high-quality software delivery.
• Develop infrastructure as code to support scalable, reliable, and consistently configured environments.
• Architect secure and resilient network solutions for business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across functions and regions to improve development and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture design.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, containerization platforms, and configuration management.
• Clear communication skills and experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

Nice to have

• AWS certification, such as Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
• Experience with serverless computing and Python or Java.
• Background in capital markets, fintech, or other regulated industries.
