What you will do

• Drive technical discussions and implementations to help generate new business and expand existing business.
• Qualify prospect and customer use cases, discover technical requirements, and lead demonstrations.
• Collaborate on proofs-of-concept (PoCs) and provide technical guidance to existing customers.
• Advise customers on technical best practices and the implementation of hirify.global products and features.
• Provide strategic guidance on internet security and performance.
• Travel (20-30%) to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go).
• Expertise in internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL / TLS.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Framework and SASE related concepts.
• 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role.
• Technical curiosity and passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and hirify.global’s products.
• A focus on learning, teaching, collaboration, mentorship, and growth.

Nice to have

• Experience building web applications or contributing to existing web applications.
• Understanding of firewalls, L3, L4, and L7 firewalls, and security concepts.
• Familiarity with command-line interfaces, RESTful APIs, and analyzing HTTP requests.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2.
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
