TL;DR

Key Account Director (API): Leading growth and strategic expansion within hirify.global's most important enterprise accounts by positioning hirify.global as a critical API platform solution. Focus on driving multi-million dollar expansion deals across collaboration, security, API governance, and AI-enabled workflows through strategic account management and solution selling.

Location: Hybrid, must be based in the Seattle area, Washington, United States, and willing to visit customers in the Seattle area and their territory.

Salary: OTE $320,000–$420,000 plus a competitive equity package.

What you will do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, including Fortune 500 and large-scale developer organizations.
  • Engage with senior technology leaders (CIOs, CTOs, VPs) to position hirify.global as a critical platform solution.
  • Drive multi-threaded sales campaigns to expand existing usage and convert developer adoption into enterprise-wide value.
  • Lead complex solution sales cycles across collaboration, security, API governance, and emerging AI-enabled workflows.
  • Identify customer pain points and design tailored value propositions to demonstrate ROI and impact.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional engagement with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record in strategic account management and expansion.
  • Experience selling technical and platform products (developer tools, SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, or security solutions).
  • Demonstrated success in solution selling, engaging senior technology leaders and driving multi-million dollar expansion deals.
  • History of working long cycles and successfully growing accounts over time.
  • Ability to navigate large, complex organizations with thousands of users and multiple stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and fluency in emerging technologies, particularly AI/agentic AI, and their application to workflow automation and customer value.
