TL;DR
Solution Consultant Federal Civilian: Responsible for providing presales technical support and creating value propositions for Federal Civilian Government Agencies with an accent on technical presentations, product demonstrations, and managing technical validation cycles. Focus on illustrating use cases across IT Security, IT Operations, and IT Service Management and ensuring technical close/win in a fast-paced sales environment.
Location: This role can be based out of our US HQ in Boston, or home based anywhere on the East Coast. At least 50% travel is expected with this role. Occasional international travel may also be required.
Salary: $118,000–$184,000

What you will do
- Lead all pre-sales activities for sales opportunities within the Federal Civilian market.
- Provide day-to-day technical support, including discovery meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Engage with customers to demonstrate solutions, communicate value, and answer technical questions.
- Execute flawless Technical Validation cycles (POC/POV) to achieve technical wins.
- Work with IT Security, IT Operations, and IT Service Management stakeholders to illustrate use cases.
- Complete technical questionnaires, security questionnaires, RFIs, and RFPs for Federal requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years selling into Federal Civilian Agencies with notable success.
- Experience and knowledge of the Federal market, including security standards and regulations.
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills (implies English C1+).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to adapt and quickly learn hirify.global products and services.
- Ability to travel at least 50%.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with End User Computing environments.
- Experience with IT Service Management, Security, Governance, Risk, or Compliance.
