TL;DR

Director, Sales (SaaS): Leading and growing revenue within the enterprise space through mentoring and guiding a seasoned group of enterprise sales professionals. Focus on strategy, planning, recruitment, retention, and performance management.

Location: Remote, East Coast, Must be authorized to work in the United States

Salary: $170,000 - $200,000

What you will do

  • Directly manage the sales team (6 - 10 AEs).
  • Work closely with assigned technical resources (SEs) and Inside Sales.
  • Develop strategy, planning and experience, and join your team in their sales efforts.
  • Manage region’s day-to-day operations, including recruitment, retention, and performance management, employee development, and enablement.
  • Work with Finance on sales team P&L and Operations forecasting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience building, training and leading top-notch enterprise sales teams within the SaaS vertical.
  • 10+ years of experience primarily in direct sales but also channel sales to enterprise accounts.
  • Deep experience selling a complex SaaS offering to IT Ops and/or DevOps leaders.
  • Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management.
  • A sales track record of leading teams to exceed quota objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and a polished approach to management and sales.
