Observability Architect (Grafana): Designing and implementing complex observability solutions for key customers, guiding their observability maturity journey, and acting as a primary technical point of contact. Location: Remote (US, CST Timezone). Ability to travel up to 25%.

Salary: $182,000–$217,000 OTE

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers.
• Design the observability maturity journey of customers and assist them on that path.
• Architect and guide the implementation of complex observability solutions across various environments.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and execute technical roadmaps and identify optimization opportunities.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, shaping product feedback and roadmap priorities.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops, developing technical documentation and guides.

Requirements

• Located in a CST Timezone.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical support, technical account management, consulting, SE or Professional Services role.
• Strong understanding of observability solutions, including Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• First class written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of technical sales, TAM, or other post-sales technical experience, ideally with open source technologies.
• Experience connecting product usage to value (ROI) and managing customer lifecycle.
• Ability to proactively assist customers with technical issues and root cause analysis.
