TL;DR

Sales Engineer (AI/Fintech): Assisting sales with technical expertise and demonstrating solutions for enterprise B2B sales cycles with an accent on identifying quantifiable problems and technical leadership in Proofs of Concept. Focus on influencing technical requirements, owning architecture blueprints, and preparing solution design proposals for complex deployments.

Location: Global remote with approximately 30-40% travel required for internal/external meetings.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 a year

What you will do

  • Assist sales with the discovery process to identify quantifiable problems that solutions can solve.
  • Demonstrate and workshop how products can help prospects and customers achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Provide deep technical expertise in the sales process, influencing early requirements.
  • Lead technical responses for RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and prepare solution design proposals.
  • Provide technical leadership during complex, enterprise-level Proofs of Concept engagements.
  • Keep informed on industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture, IT consulting, sales engineering, or software engineering in an enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, or Data Visualization.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills to gather, document, and present solution value.
  • Ability to build solid relationships with prospects' senior business and technical teams.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and planning skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Nice to have

  • Subject matter expertise in Surveillance/Supervision, eDiscovery, Archiving, and/or unstructured data platforms.
  • Industry knowledge in Financial Services and other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with Solution Selling, Demo2Win, and MEDDIC/MEDDPICC methodologies.
