Vice President, Strategy

TL;DR

Vice President, Strategy (Sports Media): Defining and delivering long-term revenue goals for hirify.global's channels business, including NFL Game Pass and NHL.TV, while supporting growth in the US and Canadian markets. Focus on P&L ownership, evaluating pricing and packaging, and assessing M&A opportunities to drive commercial success.

Location: Hybrid in New York, US. This role supports growth in both US and Canadian markets.

What you will do

• Lead strategic and commercial initiatives for the channels business.
• Take P&L ownership over select channels like NHL.TV and NCAA College Sports.
• Evaluate and make pricing and packaging recommendations.
• Assess new rights opportunities, deal terms, and M&A opportunities.
• Define product roadmap in collaboration with product teams.
• Prepare executive and board materials related to the channels business.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Tier 1 Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, or an In-House Strategy/Corporate Development team.
• Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Demonstrable experience in strategic analytical skills, including financial modelling and forecasting.
• Ability to extract key insights from data and communicate effectively.
• Experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding and interest in the sports and broader media industries.
