What you will do

  • Own end-to-end HR operations across onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, documentation, and record management.
  • Administer HRIS, ensuring data quality, workflows, reporting, and audits, and continuously improve system usage.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, letters, policy documentation, and HR communications.
  • Drive HR process improvement by identifying gaps, redesigning workflows, and implementing SOPs.
  • Support and strengthen compliance practices, including right-to-work, employment documentation, and data privacy.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, liaise with payroll vendors/finance, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Act as a first-line owner for employee relations and employee queries, escalating complex matters appropriately.
  • Lead key people cycles such as performance reviews, probation confirmations, and annual processes.
  • Provide HR analytics and reporting to turn insights into operational improvements.
  • Partner with recruiting and operations teams to support hiring operations when needed.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in HR/People Operations, with a strong preference for startup or high-growth environments.
  • Proven ability to own HR operations independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality execution with minimal oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR processes, including employee lifecycle, documentation, HRIS, payroll coordination, performance cycles, and compliance basics.
  • Excellent organisational skills and extreme attention to detail, capable of building scalable systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working with employees and managers across all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS tools, spreadsheets, reporting, and process documentation.
  • High discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity with a proactive mindset and a track record of improving processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting multi-country teams, visas/relocation coordination, or working with external payroll/HR vendors.
