TL;DR

Mid Market Account Executive (Fintech): Developing and maintaining relationships with advisors to drive growth for workplace group savings plans with an accent on new business generation and managing existing relationships. Focus on engaging C-suite prospects in Canada, building a deep sales pipeline, and optimizing sales processes.

Location: Remote, based in Canada

Salary: CAD $96,000 – $120,000 (base) + equity & commission

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain engaging relationships with advisors to drive excitement for workplace group savings.
  • Partner with advisors to review specifications, write, and present proposals to clients.
  • Generate new business opportunities by actively prospecting and promoting savings offerings to sponsors.
  • Engage C-suite, VP, and Director-level prospects across industries in Canada (50-500 employees).
  • Build a deep pipeline of potential customers through outbound efforts, events, and networking.
  • Manage and organize 50+ opportunities in Salesforce while optimizing the sales process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience selling, preferably to the Human Resources (HR) Leadership segment.
  • Demonstrated track record of perseverance, proactiveness, and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience building and managing your own pipeline in the face of uncertainty.
  • Proven ability to close deals, influence executive decision-makers, and manage negotiations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling or advising Group Retirement / Workplace Savings in the Canadian market.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Clay, and Gong.
  • Fluent in French / Bilingual.
  • Geographic location preference: Western Canada, Central Canada.
