TL;DR

Director Account Management (DACH, SaaS): Leading and developing a team of 26 Account Management professionals serving 7,000+ B2B customers across the DACH region with an accent on renewing existing contracts and identifying new growth opportunities. Focus on systematically developing the Account Management playbook and steering teams based on SaaS sales KPIs for long-term success.

Location: Hybrid (Cologne, Germany) with fixed office days (2 days/week). Workation possible temporarily within EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.

What you will do

  • Lead and empower four Team Leads and their teams of 26 Account Management professionals.
  • Manage a portfolio of over 7,000 B2B customers across the DACH region, with €35M+ ARR.
  • Drive renewals of existing contracts and identify new growth opportunities within the customer base.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Operations team to develop the Account Management playbook.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Executive Leadership.
  • Steer teams based on SaaS sales KPIs, performance metrics, and forecasting to achieve targets.

Requirements

  • Proven SaaS expertise in existing customer management (renewals, upsell, cross-sell).
  • Several years of experience leading and developing (hybrid) Account Management teams.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with professional stakeholder management.
  • High level of ownership and a proactive, hands-on mindset.
  • Business-fluent German and English skills (C1).
