Location: This remote role location is open to candidates based in Canada or the United States. Up to 30% travel is required, including availability to travel within Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

What you will do

  • Drive revenue growth to meet business targets within an assigned territory.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities within the public utilities sector.
  • Act as an advocate for customer accounts, proactively resolving issues, and conducting quarterly business reviews.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cayenta’s CIS/ERP solutions and articulate their value.
  • Participate in industry conferences and professional organizations to expand market knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive corporate culture through internal and external community building.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software sales experience, ideally in public sector CIS/ERP or utility environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of public utilities workflows and enterprise solution technology.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and accurate forecasting.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including to Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.
  • A valid passport/visa is required for travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
