What you will do
- Act as the senior commercial leader for SMBs, representing the sales organization at executive level and contributing to company-wide strategy.
- Define and own the long-term SMB commercial strategy, aligning revenue ambition, market segmentation, and go-to-market models.
- Set the direction for a scalable, data-driven sales organization, establishing clear metrics, forecasting, and performance management.
- Build, lead, and develop senior sales leaders and managers, ensuring strong leadership depth and a high-performance culture.
- Champion the SMB customer voice, shaping customer experience, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring retention and loyalty.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Product, Tech, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations, translating market signals into product strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience with a strong track record in SMB, digital, marketplace, tech, or media environments.
- Executive-level leadership ability to represent sales at senior management, shape company strategy, and lead through ambiguity.
- Proven success in defining and executing long-term go-to-market and sales strategies, including segmentation, pricing, and revenue planning.
- Ability to combine commercial judgment with analytical rigor, using data and market insights for decision-making.
- Experience in leading leaders, building strong management layers, and fostering accountability and high performance.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrix organizations and influence across functions without direct authority.
- Fluent in German and English.
