Business Development Manager (SaaS): Building and managing a team of Business Development Representatives to generate new qualified opportunities and pipeline for the Enterprise Sales team with an accent on innovative prospecting strategies and team mentorship. Focus on driving the team to exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, New York, Toronto, London or Paris.

What you will do

  • Build, manage, and coach a team of BDRs to generate new qualified opportunities and pipeline for the Enterprise Sales team.
  • Lead a highly motivated and high-achieving team, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly performance of the outbound team to ensure quotas are met and achieved.
  • Provide reporting on lead volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversions, and sales opportunities generated against each marketing campaign in partnership with Growth, RevOps, and Marketing.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the RVP of Sales to build and roll out innovative prospecting strategies.
  • Closely monitor metrics against goals and call out any issues identified with a proactive solution.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience directly managing a team of SDR/BDR’s (growth-stage experience highly preferred).
  • Experience as a quota exceeding BDR.
  • Metrics-driven, driving the team to keep on top of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly targets.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to maintain confidentiality and business ethics.
  • Expert in using Salesforce and other sales tools/products (Outreach, Gong...) to drive productivity.
  • Proven ability to effectively hire and train new reps.
