Director, Delivery and Success (AI/MedTech)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 plus variable compensation and possible equity options

What you will do

• Own executive-level relationships and strategic engagements with key customers.
• Lead, hire, coach, and mentor Delivery and Success Managers and Leads.
• Oversee complex client portfolios and ensure consistent delivery across technical, regulatory, and operational priorities.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to expand accounts and support long-term revenue growth.
• Design scalable client operations processes, tools, and organizational structures.
• Translate customer insights into structured feedback for Product, Engineering, and Quality while supporting regulatory and quality excellence.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in safety-critical or highly regulated industries, including medical devices, healthcare, government, aerospace, or automotive.
• Knowledge of risk management, design controls, software validation, V&V protocols, requirements traceability, and formal test documentation.
• Experience with software-driven product development and lifecycle operations in product, professional services, quality, or customer success.
• Demonstrated success hiring, managing, and developing high-performing teams, including managers.
• Experience managing complex executive-level client and stakeholder relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in customer success, professional services, or product operations in B2B SaaS.
• Background in quality, regulatory affairs, or systems engineering.
• Familiarity with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Experience in an early-stage, product-based startup.
• Advanced degree or regulatory certifications.
