TL;DR

Starlink Customer Success Account Manager (SMB/Fixed-Site): Managing and growing enterprise customer relationships for Starlink's unique products, focusing on contract fulfillment, onboarding, and long-term retention. Location: Onsite in Hawthorne, CA. Relocation to Hawthorne, CA is required if not local.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00/per year

What you will do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise customers, owning the interface from contract signature onwards including onboarding, ongoing account management, and long-term retention/growth.
  • Support, closely manage, and learn from direct customers that require unique Starlink products (e.g., maritime, rail, trucking, oil and gas).
  • Define, standardize, and streamline processes, enabling custom solutions to scale across the business.
  • Deliver impeccable customer service, including efficient acknowledgment and resolution of issues, and build relationships to identify requirements.
  • Collect, communicate, and champion customer feedback internally to influence and steer programmatic and technical development.
  • Act as an extreme owner of assigned accounts to realize forecasted revenue on or ahead of schedule.
  • Identify and lead implementation of process and system enhancements to improve handoffs and execution across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; OR high school diploma/equivalency certificate and 10+ years of professional business development, operations, engineering, or account management experience.
  • 3+ years of consulting or project management experience.
  • 3+ years experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations shifts.
  • Availability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time as needed to customer sites/meetings.
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee.

Nice to have

  • Significant knowledge, experience, or interest in specific customer industries (e.g., maritime, rail, trucking, agriculture, cellular backhaul, or satellite communications).
  • Experience managing multiple projects and delivering under tight time and resource constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical knowledge of Starlink or telecommunications.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn customer feedback into actionable, smart improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to craft and present professional presentations.
  • Excellent empathy, active listening, and resiliency skills.
  • Ability to read contract documents and discern requirements and deliverables.
