TL;DR

Account Manager, SMB: Drive expansion revenue and retention for small businesses using Apollo's platform with an accent on maximizing account value and identifying expansion opportunities. Focus on managing the entire sales process, negotiating renewals, and consistently achieving monthly and quarterly quotas.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, requiring 3 days in office per week

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Manage the sales process from initial conversation, trial management, negotiation, and close for SMB accounts.
  • Negotiate a high volume of monthly renewals (~10) within your book of business (~500 accounts).
  • Manage a pipeline of inbound inquiries to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential buyers.
  • Conduct 5+ meetings per day between upsells and renewals, aiming for 25+ meetings per week.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas by consistently creating 3x pipeline month over month.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Support, Onboarding, and Product teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience owning a large book of existing accounts (~500+ accounts) within the SMB segment (<200 employees).
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting targets for a minimum of 3 trailing quarters.
  • Experience using strong consultative selling skills and a defined sales process.
  • Ability to communicate, present to, and influence key stakeholders across both technical and non-technical roles.
  • Adaptable and capable of quickly learning new technologies and assessing situations.
  • Must be willing to be in office 3 days per week in Austin.

  • SaaS experience is a plus.
