Regional Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Regional Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Delivering technical product presentations and demonstrations for a cybersecurity platform with an accent on configuring product installations and collaborating with product management. Focus on articulating complex security problems and acting as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers.

Location: This position is open to candidates that are located remotely in Malaysia.

What you will do

• Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations.
• Configure product installations and customisations in POV engagements.
• Collaborate with Product Management on technical product requirements.
• Provide informal training to the Sales team on hirify.global technology.
• Work as a Trusted Advisor to prospects and customers to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Strong background in endpoint or network security (AV, EDR, SIEM, firewall) and technical expertise in cloud, identity prevention, zero-trust, MDR/XDR.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to articulate complex security problems to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
• Sales engineering background or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Ability to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies and large scale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of the OSI model.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS.
