What you will do

• Own and execute US-based institutional life sciences partnerships.
• Lead goal development and resource planning for partnerships.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for scientists and labs.
• Translate scientific bottlenecks and technical solutions into actionable plans for Applied AI and Research teams.
• Coordinate training, community building activities, and joint communications.
• Help shape team processes and culture as the Life Science work scales.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in life sciences research with ample exposure to new technologies.
• 3+ years of experience managing external partnerships, grantmaking, or multi-stakeholder initiatives in life sciences.
• Technical fluency to engage credibly on AI concepts and understand LLM capabilities.
• Strong project and program management skills for early-stage research initiatives.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with experience building programs or organizations from scratch.
• A genuine drive to maximize impact by delivering inspiring and practical solutions for scientists.
• High agency and comfort with ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel for occasional partner visits and conferences.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.

Nice to have

• Background at biotech companies, academic research institutions, or funding roles.
• Background in wet lab research with an ability and aptitude for scientific communications.
• Expertise in project tracking, dashboards, and evaluation.
