What you will do

• Drive complex technical programs that power Alexa's core device connectivity, management, and interaction capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale infrastructure that processes billions of daily context updates and device commands.
• Own end-to-end program execution: gather requirements, coordinate technical design, track progress, mitigate risks, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering and QA teams to design, implement, and test solutions.
• Develop and track program metrics focused on availability, latency, accuracy, quality, cost-effectiveness, operational excellence and program success.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives to improve developer productivity and system efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
