Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year for team and company-wide offsites.

Salary: $183,855—$216,300 USD

What you will do

• Provide legal, business, and strategic advice to hirify.global's Financial Services & Loyalty product team.
• Ensure product compliance with applicable U.S. and international laws and regulations.
• Identify issues outside of your expertise and drive resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders such as Compliance, Communications, Finance, and Security.
• Respond promptly to complex legal requests.
• Manage clients and advice to provide the right level of guidance.

Requirements

• Currently licensed in a U.S. state.
• J.D. or equivalent with 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with in-house experience with a consumer financial services business, a fintech or crypto/blockchain company.
• Experience counseling product and engineering teams in connection with launching regulated financial / banking products and services in the fintech space.
• Solid grasp of consumer financial services regulations and governmental agencies (Reg E, BSA, State MTLs, SEC, CFTC, FDIC, FinCEN, etc.).
• Well-versed in Anti Money Laundering (AML)/Know-your-customer (KYC) requirements, and regulated e-money and money transmission obligations under banking laws.
• Proven problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
