Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (Fintech/Payments): Leading the development of core card issuing infrastructure, including card lifecycle management, tokenization, and onboarding flows with an accent on developer-facing APIs and internal tooling. Focus on building scalable primitives for account hierarchies, network token orchestration, and compliant KYC/KYB processes.

Location: Must be based in the United States, Canada, Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic. NYC-based employees work from the SoHo office 3 days a week.

Salary: $148,000 - $190,000 per year + equity

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product vision for core issuing infrastructure, including virtual/physical card issuance, lifecycle, tokenization, and onboarding.
• Develop and evolve APIs, webhooks, and developer tooling as the primary customer interface.
• Drive network token strategy across Visa VTS, Mastercard MDES, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
• Build flexible account hierarchy models to support complex corporate and multi-level card programs.
• Define and optimize KYC/KYB onboarding experiences, balancing regulatory compliance with user conversion.
• Conduct customer research and analyze API usage to balance product simplicity with enterprise-grade expressiveness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech or financial services, with a track record of shipping B2B infrastructure.
• Proven experience building card issuing, payment processing, or adjacent financial infrastructure.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, data flows, and system integration.
• Must be based in the US, Canada, Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic.
• No visa sponsorship or assistance provided.
• Metrics-driven mindset with a track record of improving activation rates and API uptime.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an engineer.
• Knowledge of Visa/Mastercard issuing rules, BIN sponsorship, and principal membership programs.
• Familiarity with network token lifecycles and digital wallet integrations.
• Experience with identity verification vendors like Alloy, Persona, or Socure.
• SQL proficiency and data analysis experience.
