Location: Hybrid in NYC, with required in-office attendance 3-4 days per week, including Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Salary: $272,000–$340,000 USD base salary + target equity + benefits

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of engineering managers and their engineers, fostering excellence and high performance.
• Own the delivery of major initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring cross-functional coordination and successful business outcomes.
• Establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices that scale across the organization.
• Define and track key engineering metrics and OKRs to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leadership, product, and design to define multi-year technical and product strategy.
• Drive technical architecture decisions that balance immediate business needs with long-term scalability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering leadership roles (managing managers).
• Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and building high-performing organizations of 50+.
• Deep experience collaborating with executive leadership, product, and design to develop strategy and deliver complex, multi-team initiatives.
• Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset, translating business objectives into technical strategy.
• Solid technical depth across modern engineering practices, architectures, and systems.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and retaining exceptional engineering talent.
