TL;DR

Named Account Executive (SaaS): Managing and growing a book of named accounts by building cohesive strategies, nurturing executive relationships, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to drive customer outcomes with an accent on retaining and expanding enterprise accounts. Location: Must be located in the United States, specifically on the East Coast.

Salary: $180,000 USD base + $120,000 USD variable ($300,000 USD on-target-earnings).

What you will do

  • Establish executive relationships within your accounts.
  • Identify expansion opportunities across business units and begin prospecting into new teams.
  • Drive measurable expansion revenue and develop repeatable playbooks for multi-threading into new teams.
  • Become a trusted advisor to your customers' engineering leadership.
  • Consistently hit retention and expansion targets.
  • Contribute to refining the Named AE motion and mentor future hires as this team scales.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a focus on account management, renewals & expansion, or farming motions.
  • Proven track record of retaining and growing enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships (VP+).
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with CSM, Sales Eng, Support, and PS teams to drive customer outcomes.
  • Strong account planning and strategic thinking skills and comfortable navigating complex environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to developers or engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, code search, CI/CD, or DevOps concepts.
  • Background in consumption-based or usage-based pricing models.
  • Experience with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.
