Pricing Strategy & Optimization Intern (Healthcare): Mapping pharmacy contract terms to claims and optimizing them against market and contractual benchmarks with an accent on developing dashboards to track performance. Focus on identifying drug optimization opportunities and reporting on pre- and post-optimization impact.

Location: Hybrid in Santa Monica. Must be based in LA or be able to work on-site 1-3 days/week.

What you will do

• Assess contractual pricing framework and define brand/generic definitions, cost basis, and reimbursement targets.
• Map the pricing framework to claims in Redshift for Looker integration.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to analyze current and historical pricing trends and performance.
• Identify drug opportunities for optimization by adjusting pricing relative to pharmacy & hirify.global competitors.
• Establish a pre-period for drug optimization and measure the performance and revenue impact of price changes.
• Report on performance to contract targets and the impact of pricing optimization, collaborating cross-functionally.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, returning in Fall 2026, with expected graduation between May 2027 – June 2028.
• Ability to commit to a full-time 12-week internship in Summer 2026.
• Must be an L.A.-based candidate able to work on-site 1-3 days/week.
• Basic understanding of SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Excel).
• Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and excellent communication skills.
