Senior Manager, Clinical Outcomes

TL;DR

Senior Manager, Clinical Outcomes: Leading end-to-end outcome evaluations for health plan clients, designing robust methodologies and performing hands-on analyses of medical and pharmacy claims data. Focus on translating rich data into compelling outcome stories for new business and existing partnerships, and managing technical/clinical relationships with payer stakeholders.

Location: Remote within the US (Hub cities), with a hybrid model required. For New York City, in-person collaboration is required three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For other hub cities (San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C.), quarterly Work Together Days are encouraged.

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive sales through payer channels by providing strategic and analytic support.
• Lead end-to-end outcome evaluations for payer clients, designing methodologies and performing analyses of claims and platform data.
• Mine relevant data sources using SQL / Looker.
• Own technical and clinical relationships with payer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with partners to integrate self-reported, platform, and medical claims data for reporting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 2-3+ years healthcare industry experience, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years, or 2-3+ years management consulting in healthcare.
• Strong strategic thinking and partnership ability with Growth teams.
• Exceptional communication, analytic translation, and client management skills.
• Expertise manipulating healthcare claims (medical & Rx) and familiarity with industry financial models (e.g., PMPM, risk adjustment, HEDIS/Stars).
• Comfort with rapid, accurate data exploration, preferably in SQL / Looker.
• Proven project management capabilities in a high-growth, startup environment.
• Active work authorization in the US is required.

Nice to have

• Solid SQL or Python for large-scale data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker a plus).
• Financial modeling and/or applied statistics.
• Familiarity with value-based care payment models.
• Experience creating compelling slide narratives in a client-facing environment.
