Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and deploy customer integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, data mappings, and connectors to core insurance systems.
• Configure and tune AI agents through business-rule encoding, workflow configuration, and benchmark cycles.
• Own customer delivery from sales handoff through PoC, production launch, and expansion.
• Lead kickoffs, delivery check-ins, executive reviews, and go-lives while tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
• Debug production issues at the customer edge and resolve them before escalating when possible.
• Identify expansion opportunities and feed delivery insights back into Product, Engineering, and GTM.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software delivery, solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or technical implementation of B2B platforms.
• Ability to write and ship code in Python or TypeScript, including APIs and integrations.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI agents and explaining agent decisions in business language.
• Ability to work effectively with senior customer stakeholders and engineers in ambiguous environments.
• Strong ownership of outcomes, timelines, scope, customer trust, and production quality.

• Experience in insurance or another regulated industry.
