TL;DR

Head of Sales (UK & Ireland): Accountable for executing sales strategies and tactical plans to deliver sales targets through Inbound and outbound channels with an accent on developing go-to-market strategies and managing sales performance. Focus on recruiting, developing, and retaining talent within the sales function and ensuring efficient use of CRM.

Location: On-site in London, UK. This role is for the UK & Ireland market.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and sales plans to achieve sales and market share objectives across the UK & Ireland region.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles, including planning, prospecting, lead distribution, execution, and pipeline management, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasts.
  • Set, communicate, and manage performance expectations for the sales function, ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Effectively manage the sales funnel, optimizing KPIs and conversion rates for incremental improvement.
  • Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team of sales consultants, implementing training programs and personal development plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align on goals and ensure a positive partner experience through effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • B2B commercial leadership experience in SaaS, digital sales, online marketplace, or payments companies.
  • Proven track record of success selling into the SMB market segment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver targets and KPIs.
  • Highly analytical with confidence in working with data.
  • Excellent communication, listening, time management, and planning skills.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, customer-centric, and able to interact and influence across the business.
