What you will do
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and sales plans to achieve sales and market share objectives across the UK & Ireland region.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, including planning, prospecting, lead distribution, execution, and pipeline management, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasts.
- Set, communicate, and manage performance expectations for the sales function, ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Effectively manage the sales funnel, optimizing KPIs and conversion rates for incremental improvement.
- Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team of sales consultants, implementing training programs and personal development plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align on goals and ensure a positive partner experience through effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements
- B2B commercial leadership experience in SaaS, digital sales, online marketplace, or payments companies.
- Proven track record of success selling into the SMB market segment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver targets and KPIs.
- Highly analytical with confidence in working with data.
- Excellent communication, listening, time management, and planning skills.
- Flexible, self-motivated, customer-centric, and able to interact and influence across the business.
