What you will do
- Drive new logo acquisition and expansion, developing senior relationships with key government and government-leaning targets domestically and internationally.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop account acquisition and growth strategies that consistently exceed quotas.
- Manage pipeline effectively, generating outbound opportunities and qualifying inbound leads.
- Monitor competitor activity, agency priorities, and procurement trends, feeding insights into product and strategy decisions.
- Report on sales performance, key customers, and market insights, providing product feedback to the organization.
- Represent the company at industry events, agency meetings, and partner forums, with travel as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in SaaS software and/or networking platforms, with a focus on enterprise sales and meaningful public-sector engagement.
- Strong familiarity with public-sector acquisition pathways, including relevant contract vehicles (e.g., GWACs/IDIQs/BPAs and SLED equivalents), pricing/terms, and negotiation.
- Proven ability to source, track, and advance opportunities via federal procurement vehicles and portals (e.g., GSA MAS, NASA SEWP, CIO-SP4, Alliant, DoD eMall).
- Experience working in a startup or similar sales environment, creating, progressing, and maintaining a strong pipeline (4x quota).
- Proficiency using Hubspot, Salesforce (SDFC), Zoom, Slack, and Google Suite for collaboration and lead generation.
- Familiarity and technical product/ecosystem knowledge of networking (VPNs/SD-WAN) and cybersecurity technologies.
- English: B2 required for excellent cross-functional communication, both written and verbal.
