What you will do

• Lead and manage 2 engineering squads (up to 12 engineers total) focused on accounting and integrations.
• Guide teams through complex re-architecture impacting product engineering and understand software architecture implications.
• Oversee the Accounting Experience team, ensuring compatibility with various accounting systems and tools via Open API and CSV exports.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to set team vision and direction.
• Drive a customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset across the team.
• Represent engineering in key initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and aligning technology direction.

Requirements

• English: C1+ required for all communication.
• 2+ years of experience managing teams of 5-12 engineers.
• Passion for people management, fostering individual and team growth.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable engaging in technical discussions and removing roadblocks.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Fintech industry.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and Event Sourcing.
