Salary: £75,000 - £100,000.

What you will do

  • Develop and refine engineering strategy as a key member of the engineering leadership group.
  • Manage a large team of engineers and oversee core processes and technology areas.
  • Collaborate across the business to build product value through launches, partner integrations, and platform improvements.
  • Lead the delivery of cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement.
  • Influence prioritization of work and strategic amendments for maximum impact.
  • Manage multiple direct reports and mentor new managers transitioning into line management.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • At least 2 years of leadership and management experience.
  • Fluency in and opinionated on JavaScript frameworks (specifically Angular) or Python.
  • Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, AWS, and SQL.
  • Confidence in using technical expertise to influence key decisions about product and system design.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguous problems with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Front-End/UX design and prototyping.
