Location: Hybrid in NYC with required in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Salary: $193,000 - $250,000 + target equity + benefits

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of senior and staff engineers, fostering their professional growth.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other teams to define long-term technical and product strategy.
  • Prioritize, plan, and ensure team and cross-functional alignment to execute key initiatives.
  • Establish and implement effective engineering processes focused on quality and progress.
  • Collaborate with recruiting to build and retain a high-performing engineering team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a people manager.
  • Led two or more engineering pods with proven ability to lead teams through technical leads or people managers.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with product/program managers, designers, and peers to deliver new products and features.
  • Strong business acumen and customer-centric approach, supported by data analytics skills.
  • Solid technical understanding, capable of guiding technical discussions in a non-coding role.
  • Experience in recruiting and building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
