Salary: $125,000–$170,000 CAD per year

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, and risk-aware decisions.
• Support the operations and availability of your team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics and supporting on-call efforts.
• Contribute to a sense of community by participating in growth and development activities.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
• Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global team.
• Work from Canada is required.
