TL;DR

Head of Procurement: Building and leading a global procurement function from scratch, defining and rolling out scalable procurement strategies with an accent on risk reduction, efficiency, and cost savings. Focus on complex contract negotiation, vendor management, and implementing procure-to-pay workflows.

Location: Hybrid role, based in London, UK. Relocation assistance or visa sponsorship are not offered.

What you will do

  • Design and implement global procurement strategy, policies, and workflows.
  • Own end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and selection for diverse vendors (SaaS, cloud, advertising/marketing).
  • Partner with departments to review, draft, and negotiate vendor contracts.
  • Analyze company spend to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities.
  • Design and manage the purchase order process, serving as a central point of review.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team.

Requirements

  • Seven years of experience in procurement, with a focus on SaaS, cloud, advertising, and indirect spend in a global environment.
  • Three years of experience in a procurement leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead procurement in a multi-national, geographically-dispersed environment.
  • Track record of leading complex negotiations and managing the full contract lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing "procure-to-pay" (P2P) workflows and global procurement policies.
  • Solid understanding of procurement software, ERP systems (Coupa, NetSuite preferred), and spend management tools.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and communication skills.
