What you will do

• Oversee delivery and outcomes across multiple teams building and operating financially critical systems.
• Ensure predictable execution, planning, prioritization, and delivery across teams with competing demands.
• Maintain reliability and correctness of systems that move, record, and reconcile money.
• Lead and coach Engineering Managers, setting clear expectations and addressing underperformance.
• Drive organizational design, ensuring clear and effective team ownership and responsibilities.
• Partner with Product to align technical execution with business priorities and customer outcomes.
• Step into technical discussions to guide decisions, resolve ambiguity, and represent engineering in cross-functional initiatives.
• Improve collaboration with vendors and outsourcing partners, ensuring clarity of ownership and outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong judgment in system design and tradeoffs, able to challenge, guide, and validate technical decisions.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial systems is required.
• Comfortable leading teams working on mission-critical systems where errors have real consequences.
• Value data integrity, operational stability, and long-term maintainability alongside product velocity.
• Demonstrated ability to practice transparency, clear communication, and direct feedback.
• Experience building trust within and across teams, especially under pressure.
• Application and communication must be in English.
