What you will do

• Architect and lead the design of low-latency, high-concurrency trading engines (order books, AMMs, liquidity pools).
• Ensure absolute correctness in financial calculations (pricing, PnL, settlement) and design scalable backend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product to translate requirements into technical specifications for a regulated environment.
• Drive 0→1 delivery of the engineering roadmap from first line of code to MVP launch with rapid iteration cycles.
• Implement rigorous testing frameworks and security best practices (OWASP, SOC2 compliance).
• Build, onboard, and mentor a high-performing cross-functional engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Engineering Management experience leading high-performing teams.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, ideally in backend systems.
• Proven experience building trading platforms or similar systems in the Fintech/Trading domain.
• Previous experience launching a new product or platform from scratch (0→1).
• Deep understanding of high-performance systems, data consistency with PostgreSQL, and API design.
• Strong mathematical and logical aptitude for pricing models and risk constraints.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust, Go, C++, Python.
• Experience implementing KYC/AML, audit trails, or reporting systems for regulatory tech.
• Experience integrating with data science/quant teams for pricing algorithms.
• Familiarity with Blockchain/Web3, smart contract logic, or on-chain settlement.
